Team Nova Scotia Information

Introducing Team Nova Scotia

Within this booklet, we proudly present the 2026 representatives of Team Nova Scotia. Hailing from every corner of our province—from vibrant small communities to our dynamic urban centers—these exceptional individuals embody the skill, passion, and dedication that define excellence in skilled trades and technologies.

Each competitor has earned their place through hard work, talent, and a deep commitment to their craft.

Their accomplishments go far beyond the pursuit of medals; they stand as a powerful testament to the creativity, determination, and promise of a new generation of skilled professionals.

Trip Information

For up-to-date trip information see the links below for the Team NS Trip Itinerary as well as our Transit Visual Guide and Schedule.

Please be advised that:

  • Due to concerns around FIFA preparation road closures, and increased traffic concerns in downtown Toronto we will not have a minivan for the duration of our trip, only for the evening of competition day 2 for toolbox pick up. So it is extra important that competitors have everything they need before we leave NS or a plan for how to pick it up in Toronto.
  • Skills Canada – Nova Scotia can not reimburse for the cost of Ubers and Taxis.
  • Everyone on Team Nova Scotia will receive a Presto Transit card loaded with $60. Each trip from Union Station to Exhibition Station is approximately $3. You must swipe your card before getting on the GO train and when you get off the GO train. If you do not scan your card when you get off the train your card will be charged for the full length of the GO train which is $28. If you exceed the $60, refilling the card will be at your own expense.

Travel Reimbursements

We ask that when possible Team Nova Scotia members carpool to and from the airport.

Skills Canada – Nova Scotia will reimburse Team Nova Scotia members for their mileage travelling to and from the Halifax Airport and for team members who are not staying overnight at the Airport Hotel on our return for parking at the SUMMIT Parking Lot.
