Exhibit at the Career Showcase
Bringing together skilled youth and employment opportunities
The Career Showcase brings an interactive experience to students from across the province each year.
Junior and senior high school students are invited to visit and explore their career options. All exhibits at the event have a hands-on activity to engage visiting students.
For 2022-23, we have multiple events planned;
- December 6, 2022 in Bridgewater, NS at the Michelin Sport & Social Club.
- March 22, 2023 in Pictou, NS at NSCC Pictou alongside the Nova Scotia Skills Competition. (Expect 400+ students)
- March 31, 2023 in Dartmouth, NS at NSCC Ivany (Waterfront) alongside the Nova Scotia Skills Competition (Expect 600+ students)
- April 28, 2023 in Dartmouth, NS at NSCC Akerley alongside the Nova Scotia Skills Competition (Expect 600+ students)
- May 4, 2023 in Sydney, NS at Centre 200. (Expect 400+ students)
Want to get involved?
If you are an educator interesting in bringing your students on a tour, information about this will be released on February 1, 2023. Students will have a chance to view the career showcase, our provincial skill competition, and get hands-on activities through our Try-A-Trade® booths. For information on school tours, please contact our Program Manager, Benjamin Bestvater.
To register your company, institute, or organization as an exhibitor, please contact us or complete the form below. An invoice will be issued for payment once a registration form is submitted. Registrations will be considered confirmed once payment is received. For more details contact our Partnerships Manager, Jennifer Lambe.
Exhibitor info:
Registering a single booth at a single location is $500 (no HST). Bronze partnerships are available for $1000 (no HST) and include additional benefits, including the opportunity to participate with a booth at all Career Showcase locations.
Each event will have doors open from approximately 9:00AM through 2:00PM. Booth setup will need to be complete by 9:00AM of the event day. Booth setup can often take place in the afternoon leading up to an event day. SCNS will communicate setup times prior to an event.
SCNS staff will be onsite starting at 7:00AM and will be available for support and questions throughout the day. A hospitality area with coffee + light refreshments and a boxed/bagged lunch will be provided. Please advise the SCNS team of any dietary needs.
