Renewable Energy

This activity explores basic practices and provides knowledgeable insights into the renewable energy sector. Using the instructions and materials provided by Skills Canada – Nova Scotia, students will build model wind turbines.

Time required to complete this activity: approximately 2-3 hours.

Recommended grade: appropriate for grades 8-12

*PREREQUISITES: to register for this activity you will need to supply each student with: scissors, (optional) wire strippers/pliers, (optional) hot glue gun, and (optional) fan/hair dryer.
