In groups (3-5), students will use the ingredients and instructions provided by Skills Canada – Nova Scotia to make homemade poutine (including from-scratch cheese curds)!

Time required to complete this activity: approximately 1 – 1 1/2 hrs.

Recommended grade: appropriate for grades 7-12.

Considerations: Strong smells. Sharp tools. Supervision required.

*PREREQUISITES: to register for this activity you will need access to a stove or hot plate, oven or air fryer, mixing bowls, measuring cups, and other assorted kitchen equipment.

SCNS will provide reimbursement for ingredients up to $50 per educator.
