Expression of Interest Form – Team NS Coach/Chaperone

We are now accepting applications for those interested in serving as a Coach and/or Chaperone on Team Nova Scotia for the 2026 Skills Canada National Competition!

If interested, please submit your application by filling out the form below by April 17th, 2026. 

Tasks of a Team Nova Scotia Coach includes:

  • Training the Team NS competitor(s) prior to SCNC 2026
  • Travel with Team NS to SCNC 2026; this year Team NS will travel to Toronto departing May 26, and returning May 30.
  • Provide mentorship support to the Team NS competitor(s) at SCNC 2026.
  • Chaperone Team NS activities and dinners.
  • Assist the Skills Canada Nova Scotia staff with occasional tasks while at SCNC 2026 (example Toolbox return)

Tasks of a Team Nova Scotia Chaperone includes:

  • Travel with Team NS to SCNC 2026; this year Team NS will travel to Regina departing May 26, and returning May 30.
  • Provide support to the Team NS competitor(s) at SCNC 2026.
  • Chaperone Team NS activities and dinners.
  • Assist the Skills Canada Nova Scotia staff with occasional tasks while at SCNC 2026 (example Toolbox return)

Team NS Expression of Interest Form - Coach/Chaperone

  • For secondary school chaperones only
  • Please include past involvement with SCNS (competitions and/or other programs), training, other coaching/mentorship experience, etc.
    Some applicants may only want to attend SCNC if their student/apprentice advances to nationals. If this is the case for you, please let us know my checking "Yes".
