The Skilled Futures Career Showcase brings an interactive experience to students from across the province each year.
Junior and senior high school students are invited to visit and EXPLORE interactive industry led exhibits and Try-a-Trade® activities showcasing a variety of skilled trades and technologies including carpentry, heavy equipment repair, nautical engineering, natural resources, oceans technology, electronic engineering, welding and much more!
2025-2026 Skilled Futures Career Showcase Events
November 13, 2025 – Skilled Futures Career Showcase at the Pictou County Wellness Centre (New Glasgow, NS).
March 27, 2026 – Skilled Futures Career Showcase at NSCC Ivany Campus (Dartmouth, NS) in conjunction with the Nova Scotia Skills Competition and NSCC TechShowcase.
April 10, 2026 – Skilled Futures Career Showcase at NSCC Waterfront Campus (Sydney, NS) in conjunction with the Nova Scotia Skills Competition
April 2026 – Skilled Futures Career Showcase in AVRCE (Location TBD).
