Discover Marine Trades In-School Presentations

Our brand-new Discover Marine Trades Presentation is a fast-paced, interactive, and hands-on hour that introduces Grade 10 students to the exciting world of marine sector skilled trades.

From welding and metal fabrication to electrical, pipefitting, millwright, and industrial coatings, students will discover how ships are built layer by layer, how different trades work together, and why Nova Scotia’s ocean economy offers so many rewarding career paths close to home. The presentation includes real marine industry examples, interactive challenges, and a Marine Trades game — plus prizes!

• Delivered in-person from December to June.  
• Offered to Grade 10 students in the HRM and surrounding areas.
