The 2017 Nova Scotia Skills Competition Is Just Around The Corner!

The 2017 Nova Scotia Skills Competition is just around the corner and we are proud to announce some exciting changes for 2017!

After a successful demonstration year in 2016, we have added Sprinkler Systems to our roster – in partnership with the UA Local 56. In addition, we are also re-introducing Brick Masonry.

The 2017 Nova Scotia Skills Competition is just around the corner and we are proud to announce some exciting changes for 2017!

After a successful demonstration year in 2016, we have added Sprinkler Systems to our roster – in partnership with the UA Local 56. In addition, we are also re-introducing Brick Masonry.

The 2017 Nova Scotia Skills Competition will take place on the following dates and locations:

March 30, 2017: NSCC Strait Area Campus – 9:30 am – 2:30 pm
Here we will highlight some of the unique programming that this campus has to offer including NSCC’s only Nautical Institute.

Workplace Safety
Steamfitter – Pipefitter

March 31, 2017: NSCC Akerley Campus – 9:30 am – 2:30 pm
Here we will showcase an expanded range of contest areas including Automotive Service, Cooking, Robotics, Heavy Equipment Service and more.

April 7, 2017: NSCC Waterfront Campus – 9:30 am – 2:00 pm
This is our largest event of the year which will host 15 contest areas!
